“Leaders do not become great because of their power but their ability to empower others.”
– John Maxwell
In order to provide the best tutoring experience, we incorporate the latest teaching techniques and newest technologies. Our tutors strive to communicate efficiently and solve problems that arise by using their advanced knowledge of subjects.
Available 24/7, our tutors efficiently communicate with their students. We aim to understand which communication method best educates their students, customizing a teaching strategy around it.
Our tutors have successfully tackled the courses they teach, knowing inside and out what the pathway to success looks like.
We understand that there is a learning curve to all courses & topics. We identify students struggles and work with them to overcome and expand their knowledge.
For almost a decade, I have been on a mission to create a learning environment that produces academic achievement. Starting at the university level, I began tutoring my colleagues and classmates. From there, I have had the opportunity to be contracted by different Bay Area tutoring business, and even UC Berkeley, to teach a diverse group of students from kindergarten through the college level. I have years of experience tutoring students of all different learning styles and abilities. I also have been certified by the State of California to provide teaching services to students. I have expertise in the new common core curriculum, academic counseling, and college counseling. My passion is working with my students, many of which have gone on to some of the top schools in the country.
Hi! I am Mollie a junior at Foothill High School. I have been with Aydin’s Academy since 2017 and have loved every second of it. During my free time, I like to write, bake, and work out. I have always loved working and learning with others. Four life goal I have are: to travel, to learn, to teach, and to help. I have wanted to be a teacher practically my entire life, and my main goal is to educate young people. I have always worked towards the idea of education, and what it means to be any sort of teacher figure. Overall, my goal is not only to teach young peope, it is also to learn from them.
My name is Emma and I am a junior at Foothill High School. I have worked closely with Aydin’s Academy for over three years as a student and as a tutor. This time has taught me that a tutor’s job is not just to raise the student’s grade, but to ensure comprehension of the material. During my rare moments of free time, between my studies, work, soccer, and track, I enjoy traveling and spending time with friends. I enjoy working with my students to unlock their true potential using various examples to explain concepts. My prior experiences as an intern for Congressman Swalwell and as a current Girl Scout has taught me important tips for managing schedules, working with people from different backgrounds, and overall group communication that I can pass on to my students.
I have been tutoring for Aydin’s Academy since the beginning of this school year. I graduated from CSU East Bay in 2011 with a BA in English and a BS in Microbiology. Currently, I am working towards my Master’s in both subjects. I have experience teaching various biology subjects at the university level as well as math, English, science, and chemistry at the grade-level. These days, I rarely have free time but when I get the chance, I enjoy spending time with my husband, exercising, reading, and winding down with a nice glass of wine. This upcoming fall, I will be starting medical school at the University of Washington School of Medicine (tentatively).
My name is Riya and I am a first-year student at UCLA studying physiology. I went to Northgate High School in Walnut Creek and in the
My name is Cade and I am currently in my third year at UC Santa Cruz, studying Bioinformatics. Originally I am from San Ramon, where I went to Dougherty Valley High School. I really enjoy working with my students and helping them achieve their goals. Being a university student I know how valuable understanding the material is going into universities and higher level education. Being opposed to rote memorization, I work with every student so he or she really understands and can apply concepts. Outside of school I enjoy training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, playing video games, and snowboarding.
We have our 8th grader learning Algebra II from Aydin this year. He is absolutely the best tutor and according to my daughter, he conveys the contents very clearly, shares all the secret tips and formulas for effective learning, and he’s also very knowledgeable in ALL subjects that he’s teaching. We met him last year and this review is way long overdue. During this past year, we’ve come to know him as very reliable, passionate, and professional. I would highly recommend Aydin for any subject matter tutoring, he deserves six stars if it were available. If you are looking for a tutor to help your child, and if you would prefer someone who has integrity and top notch skills who can teach effectively, don’t look anywhere else than Aydin’s Academy.
Aydin’s Academy is truly the best! The strong knowledge of course material and ability to explain the concepts step-by-step so that students can fully grasp it, is what sets Aydin’s Academy apart from the rest. Aydin has tutored my daughter for the past 3 years in her honors math courses in both middle school and high school, and he has helped her in Chemistry and AP Biology. He challenges my daughter by holding her accountable for her homework, assigns extra problems to solidify the concepts, and often asks to see her grade. Equally as important, Aydin motivates and celebrates her achievements. As a parent, I have come to appreciate Aydin’s advice and suggestions for course selection and preparing for college.
My husband was not convinced that we needed a tutor for our oldest son, who had always been an “A” student. Overhearing Aydin’s first session with our son, we were blown away. The intellectual dialogue and rapport was definitely something that he was not getting from his AP Statistics teacher. We had no hesitation in securing Aydin’s services for our younger child’s advanced math courses. Aydin has been indispensable in supplementing the high school math program. We don’t know what we’d do without him.
